Summary:

The primary function of the Front Desk Receptionist is to greet, monitor, and grant access to appropriate visitors to the Nuvance Health Corporate Headquarters. The Receptionist adheres to all system policies including patient confidentiality while helping to direct visitors to their proper destination. Supports visitors in an efficient, courteous and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression.

Responsibilities:

1. Greets visitors and maintains visitor logs, demonstrating a courteous and friendly manner when assisting visitors and the general public.

2. Answer and direct phone calls.

3. Completes security procedures such as issuing badges or visitor passes, adhering to visitor restrictions and confidentiality.

4. Performs administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, arranging transportation, receiving, delivering, and sending mail and packages.

5. Responds to internal and external inquiries.

6. May provide back up for clerical projects or route phone calls.

7. Assists with planning and coordinating office-wide processes such as facilities maintenance, space planning, moves, equipment installations, and other events or projects with internal and external stakeholders.

8. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

9. Manage inventory and places orders for office equipment, supplies, or provisions.

10. Processes invoices

11. May act as backup for phone coverage or assist with events and other special projects.

12. May be responsible for performing company database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support, and upgrades.

13. Addresses routine day-to-day problems or coordinates with stakeholders to obtain solutions.

14. Identifies, communicates, and escalates emergencies and crises to the appropriate employee(s).

15. Maintains and models the organization�s values.

16. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.

17. Performs other duties as required.

Education Skills Experience
· Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English
 
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
 
· Ability to deal with people courteously and professionally
 
· Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office software
 
· Minimum 1 year job related experience in a customer service-oriented position
 
· Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus
 
· Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
