About the Team
The Principal Talent Advisor will join the high-performing Talent Acquisition team at Nutanix, primarily focused on the German-speaking countries, including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The team fosters a culture of innovation and excellence, encouraging collaboration and best practices in recruitment. The mission of the team is to attract top-tier talent that aligns with Nutanix's growth and vision in the dynamic software industry, emphasizing a strategic approach to talent acquisition that goes beyond traditional hiring practices.
You will report to the EMEA Talent Acquisition Director , who emphasizes a leadership style centered around coaching and support, fostering an environment where team members are empowered to act as talent advisers rather than mere order takers. The work setup for this role is hybrid, with an expectation for the hire to be in the office two days a week if located in Munich, promoting a balance between collaboration and flexibility.
The role does not have extensive travel requirements; however, it is preferred that the candidate can travel to the Munich office if they are not based there. This minimal travel focus underscores the flexibility and accessibility of the role while still facilitating necessary in-person engagements.
Your Role
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for sales roles, with ownership of hiring in German-speaking markets but recruiting across EMEA.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top talent using Findem, LinkedIn Recruiter and other platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.
- Engage in employer branding initiatives to promote company culture and attract potential candidates.
- Assess candidate qualifications and manage candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process.
- Adapt to and prioritize recruitment needs across various business functions beyond sales.
- Achieve a deep understanding of the business and establish relationships with key stakeholders within the first year.
- Prepare to expand recruitment efforts to cover all of EMEA after an initial ramp-up period while specializing in German-speaking countries.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 8 years experience in recruiting, including 5 years recruiting sales roles for a software company.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Proficient in sourcing talent using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales structures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to assess talent and manage candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Experience managing demanding stakeholders and multiple recruitment priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to various business functions beyond sales.
