About the Team
In Nutanix's Product Security, Threat, and Vulnerability Programs team, you will be part of a new initiative aimed at strengthening Nutanix's product vulnerability programs. Reporting directly to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with senior engineers in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in advocating security and secure practices throughout Nutanix.
Your Role
- Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills
- Proficient in at least one general purpose coding language
- Experience in developing or integrating security-focused tools and/or software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience collaborating across functions.
- Strong communication skills and can communicate complex security issues
- Familiarity with open-source components
What You Will Bring
- Ability to make challenging prioritization division regarding security controls
- Experience in a software engineering role and interested in working on security related projects
- Familiar with industry standards security best practices and vulnerability
- Experience in security incident response and management
- Experience in integrating tools into CICD pipeline/deployment
