The Opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale our next-generation Kubernetes platform powering enterprise environments. This platform serves as the foundation for AI/ML workloads, GPU infrastructure, and enterprise applications, delivering hyperscaler-like capabilities across on-prem and hybrid cloud deployments. In this role, you will gain deep exposure to production-grade distributed systems, owning key capabilities that enable enterprises to run mission-critical operations at massive scale.

About the Team

We are building a next-generation Kubernetes platform (NKP) for enterprise AI and modern applications, designed to bring hyperscaler-grade capabilities into on-prem environments. The team owns the full stack—from cluster lifecycle and fleet management to multi-tenancy and AI workload orchestration (including GPU management). Our charter is to enable enterprises to run mission-critical and AI workloads at massive scale, with a strong focus on simplicity, reliability, and performance. We operate as a highly collaborative, globally distributed team spanning the US, Europe, and India, working closely with product, hardware, and field organizations. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Engineering, who embodies a leadership style that emphasizes strong managerial expertise, technical involvement, and close collaboration with engineers.

Your Role

  • Own end-to-end delivery of key platform capabilities, including cluster lifecycle, fleet management, and multi-tenancy.

  • Collaborate closely with US-based and global teams to understand complex project requirements and align on engineering assignments.

  • Develop, deploy, and manage core applications within a production Kubernetes environment utilizing GitOps workflows.

  • Document software development processes, technical designs, and project specifications to maintain high engineering standards.

  • Practice agile methodologies within the team, promoting effective communication, transparency, and collaborative teamwork.

What You Will Bring

  • 6–8 years of experience in a technical role within software development or engineering.

  • Strong proficiency in Kubernetes architecture for application development, configuration, and management.

  • Proven experience with Docker image management and Helm chart creation for application deployment.

  • Proficiency in Git, GitOps workflows, and automation via GitHub Actions.

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages, particularly Golang or Python.

  • Solid understanding of Linux environments and Agile methodologies.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment.
