The Opportunity 

Are you a highly skilled and customer-oriented professional with strong experience in hyperconverged infrastructure, enterprise virtualization, and production Kubernetes environments? If so, consider joining Nutanix as a Professional Services Consultant in Taiwan. Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and public cloud platforms will be a strong advantage. 

This role is a key customer-facing Services position in Taiwan. Due to the local market coverage model, the Professional Services Consultant will be expected to operate in a hybrid responsibility model, covering solution design, hands-on implementation, migration, technical escalation management, customer advisory, and post-delivery technical guidance. 

The minimum expectation is strong hands-on capability in Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure / NCI and Kubernetes. Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, GPU-enabled platforms, and public cloud or hybrid cloud environments is highly preferred. 

About the Team 

You will join the Nutanix Services Delivery team, which is part of a global services organization. The team focuses on helping customers successfully design, deploy, operate, and optimize Nutanix solutions. 

In Taiwan, this role will act as a key local technical resource for enterprise and public-sector customers. You will work closely with regional services leaders, project managers, support teams, engineering teams, partners, sales teams, and systems engineering teams to deliver successful customer outcomes. 

You will report to the Services Delivery Leader and work in a hybrid services delivery model. The role may require travel to customer sites in Taiwan and occasional overseas travel for internal meetings, training, or regional project support. 

Your Role 

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will deliver Nutanix Professional Services engagements for customers in Taiwan. You will lead technical workshops, capture requirements, create design documents, perform implementation and migration work, manage technical escalations, and provide practical guidance to help customers successfully operate Nutanix infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and cloud-native workloads. 

This role requires deep hands-on capability across hyperconverged infrastructure, virtualization, and Kubernetes, together with strong customer communication skills. Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and public cloud or hybrid cloud platforms is highly desirable. You should be comfortable working independently with customers while collaborating with regional and global Nutanix teams. 

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver Nutanix Professional Services engagements for customers in Taiwan. 
  • Lead customer workshops to understand business requirements, technical requirements, risks, dependencies, and success criteria. 
  • Create design documents, implementation plans, migration plans, test plans, as-built documents, and operational handover documents. 
  • Design, deploy, upgrade, validate, and troubleshoot production Kubernetes and container platforms, including Nutanix Kubernetes Platform where applicable, with coverage across cluster lifecycle, networking/CNI, persistent storage/CSI, RBAC and security, Ingress or Gateway API, observability, and platform operations. 
  • Support Nutanix environments across virtualization, storage, networking, data protection, lifecycle management, platform operations, Kubernetes, container infrastructure, and hybrid cloud integration. 
  • Manage technical escalations and coordinate with Nutanix Support, Engineering, Product Management, partners, and customer teams. 
  • Provide technical governance during project delivery to ensure alignment with Nutanix, Kubernetes, and cloud-native best practices. 
  • Help customers improve platform stability, operational efficiency, workload mobility, and adoption of Nutanix solutions. 
  • Work with project managers to manage scope, timeline, risks, dependencies, resource requirements, and customer communication. 
  • Support pre-sales activities as a subject-matter expert, including discovery, scope definition, effort estimation, and technical validation. 
  • Identify future services opportunities during customer engagements and contribute to services pipeline development. 
  • Contribute to services practice development, including templates, best practices, knowledge sharing, quality assurance, peer reviews, and reusable delivery assets. 

What You Will Bring 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a consultant, architect, or senior engineer in HCI, virtualization, Kubernetes, cloud, storage, or enterprise datacenter infrastructure, with demonstrated hands-on delivery experience in both enterprise infrastructure and Kubernetes environments. 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure or similar enterprise hyperconverged infrastructure and virtualization platforms. 
  • Deep understanding of virtualization technologies such as Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere, KVM, or Hyper-V. 
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of production Kubernetes environments, including architecture, cluster deployment and upgrades, CNI/networking, CSI and persistent storage, RBAC/security, Helm, Ingress or Gateway API, observability, lifecycle operations, and complex troubleshooting. 
  • Strong understanding of datacenter infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, security, availability, and operations. 
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions, including multi-site, high availability, disaster recovery, and workload migration architectures. 
  • Good understanding of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, file, block, object storage, distributed storage, and Kubernetes persistent storage using CSI-based integrations. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across HCI, virtualization, storage, networking, Linux, Kubernetes, containers, and infrastructure layers. 
  • Ability to independently lead customer discussions, whiteboarding sessions, design reviews, implementation activities, and technical escalations. 
  • Ability to create clear technical documentation and customer-facing presentations in English and Chinese. 
  • Strong customer relationship skills with a focus on ownership, accountability, communication, and customer satisfaction. 
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, working proficiency in English, and the ability to work independently in Taiwan while collaborating with regional and global teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Prior Nutanix design, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting experience. 
  • Nutanix certifications such as NCP, NCS, NCM, or NCX. 
  • Kubernetes certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or CKS; VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or VCIX are also valuable. 
  • Experience with Nutanix AHV, AOS, Prism Central, Flow, Files, Objects, Volumes, Leap, and Life Cycle Manager. 
  • Experience with Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, container registries, cloud-native application platforms, and production Kubernetes operations. 
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes ecosystem technologies such as Helm, Ingress or Gateway API, persistent volumes, RBAC, Prometheus, Grafana, GitOps, Argo CD, service mesh, or similar cloud-native tools. 
  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or enterprise AI platforms is highly desirable, including GPU-enabled environments, model serving and inference, LLM workloads, containerized AI applications, or Nutanix AI-related solutions. 
  • Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Argo CD, or similar tools. 
  • Experience with public cloud or hybrid cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred, including exposure to cloud networking, IAM, compute, storage, managed Kubernetes services, and hybrid connectivity. 
  • Experience with workload migration, including VMware to AHV, Hyper-V to AHV, P2V, V2V, and container workload migration. 
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Exchange, SAP, or other business-critical workloads. 
  • Experience supporting large enterprise, financial services, government, healthcare, semiconductor, or other regulated customer environments. 
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, RHCE, CCNA, VCAP, VCIX, or equivalent. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 

How We Work 

This role operates in a hybrid capacity, combining remote work, office collaboration, and customer-site delivery. 

For Taiwan, the Professional Services Consultant is expected to provide broad local technical coverage across services delivery, solution design, hands-on implementation, migration, Kubernetes platform delivery, cloud-native workloads, and escalation management. Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure and public cloud or hybrid cloud environments will be an advantage. The consultant should be comfortable working directly with customers, partners, sales teams, systems engineering teams, support teams, and regional services leadership. 

The role may require travel to domestic customer sites and occasional overseas travel for internal team meetings, training, or regional project support.
