The Opportunity

In this role you will help identify target market segments and key use-cases, research unmet customer needs, and drive a compelling strategy and roadmap to develop support for cloud native infrastructure and workloads in Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM). You will also be responsible to define go-to-market strategy and tactics to help drive growth, adoption and ultimately deliver a superior customer experience!
About the Team
This role would be a part of the NCM Product Management team at Nutanix. The team is comprised of diverse and senior-level product managers who are responsible for driving the success and adoption of Nutanix products and solutions. They work closely with customers, partners to prioritize and manage product requirements, and collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, enablement, and customer success to ensure successful execution and value realization by customers. The team operates in a fast-paced and innovative environment, constantly staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices to deliver on business outcomes.
Your Role
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and distill the learnings into actionable near term and long term roadmap
- Work with key stakeholders including senior executives to gain shared vision on product strategy, vision, and roadmap.
- Be a subject matter expert and thought leader in the Cloud Native Management and evangelize the vision and roadmap with customers, partners, analysts and other stakeholders.
- Drive x-functional execution of the roadmap with engineering, marketing, sales, customer success teams for accelerated value realization.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of diverse and senior level product managers (PMs)
- Analyze the business results and guide the team to develop, prune or change business strategy and tactics on an ongoing basis.
What You Will Bring
- A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required. MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing products teams.
- Domain experience in hybrid cloud, enterprise infrastructure, Kubernetes or cloud native environments is required.
- Experience in developing vision, strategy, roadmap, prioritizing requirements and managing complex initiatives
- Passion for building great products that customers love to use

Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 201,000 and USD $ 402,000 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
