Multi-Color Corporation is a world leader in Premium Label Solutions, with our Brisbane facility specialising in the food and beverage market segments. We have over 80 manufacturing plants in 27 countries with one of our regional QLD plants being based in Darra. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Prepress Operator to join our Darra production branch.

About the role:

Working within our Brisbane production team, you will be responsible for facilitating allocated artwork requests to client branding guidelines whilst maintaining strict production specifications. It also involves ensuring timely and accurate supply of customer proofs and prepress jobs to the production facility. Your working hours will be: 4 Days a week - 2:00pm - 12:00pm (Mon- Wed) 2:00pm - 11:30pm (Thurs)

Your Responsibilities:

•          Creating artwork that adheres to client branding and production specifications (Flexographic and Digital).

•          Using software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Esko

•          Colour correcting and Trapping of files to strict production specifications

•          Meeting workload requirements to an agreed schedule

About You:

•          Experience in a similar role would be advantageous

•          A high attention to detail, an eagerness to learn and good communication skills are a must

•          Formal / Tertiary qualifications with experience in pre-press and/or graphic design is an advantage

•          Experience with Mac computers as well as skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and Esko (Automation Engine) is desirable

•          Effective problem-solving skills and efficient time management

•          Proven ability in accepting direction and completing assigned work accurately and on time with attention to detail

•          Must have flexibility for rotating shifts to support the demands of workloads
