The Business Development Executive works to improve MCC’s market position and achieve financial growth. This position defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies new business opportunities, negotiates, and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. He/She is responsible for meeting budget expectations and delivering YOY growth exceeding the market growth rates. The Account Executive focuses on three main areas: New Account Development, Client Retention, and Account Planning. This role is highly collaborative as it requires interaction with mid and senior level management, marketing, and technical staff.

DESIGNATIONPREPRESS OPERATOR (Platemaker)

Responsibilities:

Responsible in controlling Prepress activities in the factory mainly in coordinating and organizing the printing plates, screens, flexible and flat die cutters, standard folders, plate bags, data analyses and printing consumables inventory control

 

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s):

  1. Press time efficiency
  2. Press material usage efficiency
  3. Prepress raw material usage optimization
  4. Education and training to the printers and subordinates
  5. Response to work quality performance and complaint.
  6. Teamwork, support and commitment
  7. Attendance, on time in full
  8. Medical leave and Emergency leave
  9. Work practice compliance
  10. GMP / 5S and general safety maintenance
  11. Internal rejection < 0.1% due to pre-press
  12. Shortage and customer complaint due to pre-press.

 

1.1   Applicants must be able to:

 

1.1.1         Monitors and improve issues in relation to prepress responsibilities

1.1.2         Monitors production schedule to ensure prepress tooling delivery on time

1.1.3         Monitors and improve jobs efficiency accordingly to the estimated set-up and run-

 time.

1.1.4         Reduce production time and material wastage through the following method: -

-           Accurate and reliable pre-press tooling

-           Accurate and updated inventory on all the printing consumables

-           Reduce wastes in prepress operations (silkscreen, flexo plates, letterpress plates,  

flexible die cut and flatbed die cut.

-           Readiness of all printing tools according to the Production schedule.

1.1.5         Production of printing plates for both flexographic and letter press printing machines.

1.1.6         Preparation of the job bag for plates and other tooling required.

1.1.7         Verification of completeness of tooling prior to issuance of job bag.

1.1.8         Recording plate usage data.

1.1.9         Maintaining records of raw materials for plate manufacturing.

1.1.10      Archival of job bags after post-production.

 

QUALIFICATION:

 

Education / Experience;

-          Secondary school.

 

Skills / Abilities;

-          No colour blind.

-          Computer literate – Word, Excel, Internet, PowerPoint, Outlook or equivalent.

-          Time management.

-          Planning & organizing.
