The Material Inventory Specialist is responsible for reconciling all receipts received via our Warehouse Management Software. All packing lists will be input into this WMS, working with both Accounting and Procurement to confirm accuracy and continuity. Along with receiving, this role will be responsible for the accurate billing of all outbound shipments. In order to confirm inventory accuracy during billing, all boxes and skids must be physically counted as a second check by the clerk. This includes export shipments under the guidance of management. Candidate will assist in scheduling trucks, cycle counting, and be cross trained to drive a forklift. An ideal candidate is someone with experience in shipping, inventory, and warehouse management. Basic computer skills and experience with Outlook and Warehouse Management Software (WMS) systems is required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, good attendance, the ability to change pace, and an excellent eye for detail to grow their career with us!

Responsibilities:
- Bill Shipments
- Schedule Shipments
- Receive packing lists into our WMS
- Assisting in cycle counting inventory
- Adjusting inventory quantities and locations as needed via WMS
- Recommending relocations of inventory to improve warehouse flow
- Develop and continually improve technical knowledge of processes in order to continually improve and problem solve. Utilize and report results within WMS
- Manage and handle inventory, correct labeling issues, and communicate issues with management for resolution
- Organize and complete documents in precise way to ensure inventory is valid, locatable, and cataloged correctly.
- Related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper personal protection equipment compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free. Compliance with all workplace and safety standards required.
- Detail oriented and can focus for long periods of time.
- Possess experience with billing, inventory, warehouse, and logistics procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and solve problems as they arise.
- Ability to stand and move around work area for long periods of time.
- Forklift experience preferred
