About the role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing customer relationships. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, managing orders, and supporting various key functions of the business.  Also a great opportunity to develop & progress in your sales career. You will work 38 hours set schedule, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

Duties include:

  • Takes responsibility for their customers through providing accurate & timely information regarding purchase orders
  • Manages the process of customer purchase orders from order entry through to shipment by consistent & accurate communication with internal & external customers
  • Investigates customer issues & seeks to understand the needs of the customer beyond their expectation
  • Committed to expanding their knowledge of MCC’s products & services 
  • Work collaboratively within diverse departments, groups & across the plant to achieve common goals. Demonstrates the ability to be a good team player by assisting colleagues within the plant as required

About you

  • Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook intermediate proficiency
  • Shows solid PC skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly 
  • Ideally you will have experience in customer service within the manufacturing industry
  • Can demonstrate an impeccable phone manner and ability to establish & maintain positive relationships
  • Excels in organisation & time management skills
  • Sound verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team
  • Demonstrates a problem-solving acumen with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible & adaptable to change
