The Business Analyst - SAP will be an integral part of a team enabling the Business to make better decisions by leveraging the company’s SAP technology assets by applying knowledge of business processes, master data management, and SAP configuration. The solutions designed and deployed will directly impact the day-to-day work activities of the company’s business users and have a huge impact on the operational efficiencies in various departments and thus directly impact the company’s bottom line.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to business users by answering SAP related questions and provide guidance and ad-hoc data as required in a timely manner
• Work with a cross functional team to understand the business issues or identify opportunities and gather system requirements
• Translate business requirements into solutions that utilize standard SAP functionality where possible.
• Configure SAP FICO to meet business requirements.
• Work with users to develop functional specifications for system enhancements or reporting requirements.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training of end-users, including sharing best practices.
• Provide user support with SAP application related issues. Administer and support application as necessary
• Work closely with the business users to understand and refine requirements which will be translated into meaningful information delivered as ad-hoc queries, Reports or Analyses/Dashboards.
• Follow, challenge and improve established processes surrounding design, development, testing and deployment of solutions.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least two to four years’ related experience and/or training with proven track record, any product or industry certification in SAP area a plus.
• Experience configuring SAP and understand the integrations between SAP modules. Candidate must be proficient in PowerPoint and Word and be Advanced in Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-starter and have the ability to learn existing and new tools and technologies.
