Customer Service Representative
Description
An exciting and immediate opportunity for a CSR professional to join our established team in our Adelaide plant based in Mile End South. Your work pattern will be 38 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
From order receiving to the shipping of goods, you will develop a deep understanding of our products and customers. In order to accomplish this, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and a firm grasp of our business systems.
- Providing quality customer service through a variety of communication channels to resolve customer inquiries, requests, and issues.
- Provide accurate, high-quality, and timely service to our customers by thoroughly understanding MCC's products, services, policies, and processes
- Manage customers orders through our internal workflow.
- Complete non-compliance reports whilst being involved in investigations and improvement processes as required.
- Negotiate delivery dates to meet customer expectations and best internal outcomes
- Liaise with internal departments and effectively communicate to achieve combined commitments
- Handle numerous orders simultaneously
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills through your customer interactions in a professional manner
- Collaborate across our internal teams to coordinate and support the customer journey and provide support for fellow colleagues during times of absence or peak periods
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of opposing perspectives on issues and adapt to changing situations.

About you
- Intermediate Microsoft suite proficiency (especially in word, excel & outlook)
- Intermediate proficiency personal computer skills using the windows operating system
- Certificate III in Administration, Customer Services, Sales or similar (not essential)
- Passionate about customer service with proactive listening skills
- Ability to establish & maintain positive relationships
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle customer issues with empathy and professionalism with patience and resilience
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Flexible & adaptable to changing workloads with excellent organisation and time management skills
- Adaptable to working independently as well as within a collaborative team, proactive, and initiative-driven
- Focused on quality control and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and able to walk up/downstairs
