Responsibilities:
- Assess risks related to employee health and safety and develop prevention and protection plans and instructions, based on the specifics of the activities carried out.
- Develop internal instructions for applying occupational health and safety regulations, according to the specifics of work processes, number of employees, and risks of accidents and occupational diseases.
- Verify compliance with current legislation and regulations regarding fire risk prevention, employee health protection, and environmental protection.
- Coordinate the investigation of workplace accidents, analyze causes, and propose corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare periodic reports for management regarding OHS compliance, accident trends, and improvement proposals.
- Coordinate the internal audit program of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
- Participate in workplace health promotion campaigns by developing informational materials and conducting health education activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Psychology, or related fields.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g. authorized OHS/SSM training courses).
- Previous experience in similar roles, preferably in high-risk industries.
- Excellent risk assessment skills and solid knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE).
