The Regional Controller leads the financial function for the region, supporting the organization to achieve overall corporate financial objectives. This person will ensure that all transactions are compliant with all legal requirements minimizing MCC liability. The RC also provides daily support and added value to the Finance Organization and the facility, and performs all functions of talent management of department employees in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial: Lead internal financial reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies for the organization.  Assist in the creation and achievement of the approved budget.
  • Analysis: Partner with the Executive Team to assure achievement of the overall corporate objectives, including analyzing data to initiate improvements and cost savings.
  • Cost Accounting, Inventory and Assets: Establish systems for current, accurate and complete accounting and reporting of job costs, overhead, inventory, controls and policies, and physical counts.
  • Forecasting: Manage the forecasting process including analyzing trends and patterns, determining the impact and  making recommendations for the organization.
  • Business Strategy: As a member of the Executive Management Team, assist in the achievement of overall strategy.
  • Customers: Create a service oriented and business partner approach within the Financial organization.
  • People: Build, develop and manage a high performing team capable of carrying out the Finance and Accounting functions and responsibilities, including performance management and succession planning.  Establish clear goals and objectives within the Finance function.
  • Culture: Model the Corporate Values.  
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as required.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting with 7+ years’ experience with global, publicly traded company.
  • Experience as a leader and financial manager with a strong operational focus.
  • CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Sarbanes-Oxley controls required.
  • Financial management experience in manufacturing required. Experience in the printing industry, a plus.
  • Literate in Microsoft Office or the equivalent. Experience with Hyperion and SAP, a plus.
  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret reports.
  • Must be able to define a problem, collect data and apply common sense to solve the problem with little or no guidance.
  • Must comply with established facility safety policies and procedures..
