With our extremely rare single IBAN multi-currency account, we are able to assist with a variety of different payment needs, including business payment solutions, personal payments abroad (for example buying a property), travel money, as well as the ability to offer interest on deposits. Supplementing this, we also support the global supply chain of wholesale banknotes through our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and partnership with the US Federal Reserve Bank, to build deeper payment relationships with international banking customers.
It is through obtaining our own banking and payment licenses, the acquisition of two banking platforms and access to 16+ liquidity providers that we are able to proposition a trailblazing FinTech payment infrastructure that simplifies our customer’s diverse business needs and reduce their costs. Your Next Challenge
As a Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless transition and efficient operation of data projects from the QA environment to production. Your role will involve proactively identifying and resolving issues, applying your extensive domain knowledge to enhance project outcomes. You will utilize powerful tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI to monitor service metrics and deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making.
In this position, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Python, and R to automate processes and improve operational efficiency. Maintaining precise and up-to-date documentation will be crucial, ensuring transparency and continuity across all projects. You will play a key role in supporting project prioritization and assisting in the controlled promotion of data projects, ensuring that each transition is smooth and effective.
Additionally, you will contribute to the development and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies, safeguarding the integrity of our data. Regular health checks on both QA and production environments will be part of your routine, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Issue Resolution & Escalation: Ensure proactive resolution of issues impacting
critical data projects and escalate when necessary. - Domain Expertise & Continuous Learning: Develop expertise in relevant data
domains and foster continuous learning within the team. - Service Monitoring & Data Insights: Use tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and
PowerBI to develop dashboards for monitoring service metrics and providing
actionable insights. - Automation & Efficiency: Leverage SQL, Python, and R to identify automation
opportunities and enhance efficiency in support and maintenance. - Documentation Management: Oversee the creation and upkeep of accurate,
up-to-date documentation for processes, systems, and team structures. - Project Prioritization & Promotion: Assist in prioritizing data projects for
controlled promotion from QA to production. - Backup & Disaster Recovery: Contribute to the implementation of robust
backup and disaster recovery practices. - Environment Health Checks: Support regular health checks on QA and
production environments to ensure system stability and reliability.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience with using Alteryx is essential.
- Proven experience of delivering high quality, unit tested software in a timely manner.
- Experience of delivering software within a commercial environment.
- Practical experience of applying appropriate design patterns and principles
- FX and Financial knowledge – desirable
- Exposure to financial systems - desirable
Technical Skills:
- Data Engineering e.g. Alteryx
- Data Visualisation e.g. Tableau, PowerBI
- SQL, Python, R coding skills

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position with an opportunity to work hybrid within the IT team based in our London office. Furthermore, currently we are unable to guarantee visa sponsorship for this role.
