In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment at over 130 remote locations by monitoring, resolving problems, installing hardware/software, and analyzing requirements. You will be responsible for administration and support of the Company's PCs, printers, and related equipment at both the corporate location (Active Directory) as well as the remote locations (Workgroup).

Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations. This is a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) position for 130 small remote locations with a handful of computers along with printers, wireless routers, network switches, etc. Although not initially, some interstate travel may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through IT helpdesk tickets
• Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
• Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the all computers (local and remote)
• Utilize and maintain the helpdesk Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) software
• Document internal procedures
• Assist with installation, test and configure new computers, peripheral equipment and software
• Maintain inventory database of all equipment, software and software licenses
• Escalate application issues to the appropriate departments
• Assist with PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software
• Knowledge of Users and Computers in in Workgroups and Active Directory
• Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
• Shipping and receiving of computer equipment and assisting with ordering

• An effective communicator over the phone, via email and other forms of communication
• Capable of working independently with limited training

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Information Systems
• Computer Certifications
• 2 years of relevant technical experience in a remotely managed environment
