Hiring: EXPERIENCED APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECH with HVAC EXPERIENCE PREFERRED to join our awesome team in Omaha at Georgetowne Apartments. This hands on job will deal with make-readies, work-orders, grounds, and shared on-call (once every 3 weeks).

SCHEDULE:
M-F 8-5PM 40 hours a week (80hrs paid time off 1st year, paid holidays)
No Weekends, very little on-call 1x every 3 weeks (On-call is at 1 property VS 5+ like our competitors)

PAY:
$21 to $23 an hour (full-time) 
Full benefit package with bonuses and a 20% rent discount (see all the cool benefits below)

BONUSES POTENTIAL:
Up to $750 per quarter based on site performance
$100 for every week you hold the on-call phone and a minimum of 1.5hrs paid time for emergency calls
Combined for a total of $3,000+!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
  • Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
  • Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
  • Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
  • Exterior structural maintenance as needed
  • Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
  • Snow removal (when applicable)
  • Pool maintenance (where applicable)
  • Housing inspection experience preferred (not required)

The Experience We Like To See:

  • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent
  • 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance
  • Dry walling including painting and carpentry
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, sweeting copper pipe preferred
  • Basic knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
  • Basic repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
  • Knowledge and 1-2 years experience of HVAC and/or boiler systems (air conditioning, heating and cooling)
  • Some knowledge of water heaters both electric and gas
  • Problem solving skills
  • Be able to provide great customer service to our residents
  • Have basic safety training or be willing to go through basic training within 30/days
