Betting Control Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Betting Control Specialist, you will be crucial in safeguarding the integrity and compliance of our bookmaking operations. You will proactively monitor, investigate and report suspicious betting activities based on the internal guidelines. This role directly contributes to maintaining the reliability and high quality of our company's betting offer across multiple countries.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Analyze and monitor live betting activity to identify high-risk, fraudulent, or unprofitable patterns.
- Support customer risk profiling, limits monitoring, and live risk decision-making.
- Investigate and report inconsistencies in betting offers, pricing, and risk management tools.
- Collaborate with Betting Intelligence, Trading, and Bookmaking Strategy teams to align risk decisions.
- Optimize live risk management processes and contribute to improvements and new control tools.
- Ensure proper escalation, documentation, and reporting of match-related and risk-related issues.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong understanding and passion for betting integrity and bookmaking regulations.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently and comfortable in taking decisions with limited supervision.
- High levels of integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in Risk, Integrity or Compliance within Sportsbook.
- Passion for documenting and auditing procedures, with a strong organisational skill.
- Familiarity with automation tools or process improvement methodologies.
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment
- Openness to receiving and providing constructive feedback
