ABOUT THE ROLE
At LeoVegas, data is essential to all our decision making needs regarding customer behavior, marketing, social media, product development and discovery of new markets.
The Data Engineering Team is responsible for gathering and processing this information into consumable insights using Big Data technologies.
You will be responsible for elaborating new solutions, implementing and maintaining batch and near real-time ELT pipelines having quality, performance and costs optimization in mind. You will be collaborating with the wider team to optimize data flows, helping business records to integrate and support in the data pipelines.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Building the ELT pipelines out of complex and high-volume datasets
- Helping business records to integrate and support in the data pipelines
- Integrate, ingest and help improve the data into the Data Warehouse in the Google cloud environment
- Develop solutions for new integrations into the data warehouse.
- Deliver independently with strong knowledge of internal data systems.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- ELT data pipelines development
- Strong knowledge in DBT and BigQuery, Airflow, Python, SQL.
- Software engineering practises around test automation, CI/CD, version control
- Knowledge about data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques
NICE TO HAVES
- Knowledge in streaming pipelines / Kafka
- Knowledge in Cloud Run
