Head of Engineering - Payments
Description
As Head of Engineering for Payments you will lead the technology arm of the Payments Product & Technology department located in Sweden and Poland, consisting of a group of Engineering Managers and their respective Software Engineers, a QA Lead with QA Automation Engineers and Architects.
Leading the teams by building trust and accountability with colleagues and stakeholders, owning the delivery of the product roadmap and working together with the extended team within Payments Product & Tech and wider organisation, to deliver company strategic goals and initiatives will be your main assignment.
You will be acting as a role model for our very own Leo Culture, ensuring your and your team's every day contribution brings us closer to our common passion: Creating the Greatest I-Gaming Experience for Payments in a highly competitive and fast paced industry.

You will be part of the payments domain where we enable the greatest user experience for our customers depositing money to play and accessing their winnings as smooth as possible. We build functionality to constantly increase the rate of successful payment transactions while keeping our cost for those transactions on a low level and with that are at the heart of our business model.
#DRIVING DEVELOPMENT FOR OUR PAYMENTS VERTICAL
You will be responsible for driving the development of LeoVegas technical development for our payments vertical and provide engineering leadership by driving technical change. You will keep close contact with our product management team to ensure that our products are being built in the best possible way by your engineering team.

Do you have experience in this?
- Engineering background having spent at least 3+ years working as an engineer yourself
- Experience from agile, high-paced engineering organizations preferably in online technology products
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in directly managing software engineers and engineering managers, owning the delivery of the team
- Experience in the Online Payments industry is a plus
