Due to our continued growth, we’re now looking for a AML Quality Assurance Specialist to join our high performing team.

The Quality Assurance Specialist in the AML department is a key contributor responsible for evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of our AML operation. In this role, the specialist will focus on assessing the quality and accuracy of AML-related processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This position is vital in maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance within our AML framework

As our Quality Assurance Specialist you will…

  • Evaluation of AML cases reviewed by the analysts: Thoroughly review customer cases analysed by AML Agents, Analysts, and Specialists to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness in identifying suspicious activities.
  • Documentation Review: Examine AML documentation, including customer profiles, transaction records, and investigative reports, to verify the accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Agent Guidance: Giving feedback to AML Analysts on how to handle cases more effectively, providing guidance on how to address problematic cases and diffuse challenging situations.
  • Training and Awareness: Collaborate with the AML trainers & leaders to provide guidance, feedback, and support to improve the quality of AML processes and decision-making as necessary.
  • Risk Identification: Identify areas of operational risk within the AML Department and make recommendations for process improvements, compliance enhancements, and additional training to mitigate potential risks.
  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on the results of quality assurance reviews, highlighting findings and making recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure that the AML ops remain compliant and effective.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Process Adherence Manager in any ad-hoc tasks related to AML quality assurance and process improvement.

Your areas of knowledge and experience:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the AML space within the online gambling industry.
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and best practices in different jurisdictions
  • Prior experience in quality assurance, compliance, or AML-related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities, especially in relation to giving feedback.
  • Knowledge of Evaluagent is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
