Due to our continued growth, We are now looking for the next superstar Sportsbook Strategy & Business Development Manager to join our award-winning team.
As the Sportsbook Strategy & Business Development Manager, you will drive cross-departmental initiatives that impact both top and bottom lines, contributing to the profitable growth of the Sportsbook business.This is a versatile role that requires a strong business acumen and the ability to carry out complex projects across diverse teams. The role reports to the Director of Sportsbook.
Primary function: Support growth and optimize performance across promotional activities, trading, and internal processes, while playing a key role in strategic initiatives such as market expansion projects.
Purpose: Increase profitability and secure growth for the sportsbook brands across LeoVegas.
As our Sportsbook Strategy & Business Development Manager, you will (responsibilities in core areas include evaluation & optimization)...
- The pursuit of the Greatest Gaming Experience and improved KPIs, including but not limited to NGR, turnover, and margin. Help manage and report on overall business performance across our different brands.
- Evaluate and improve new promotions, functionality, and features.
- Collaborate with our sportsbook providers to evaluate margin performance, risk management, and player management.
- Create and deliver reports on a regular basis.
- Develop, implement, and execute the group sportsbook strategy in line with management direction.
- Monitor and evaluate sportsbook performance and provide relevant feedback to the Director of Sportsbook and internal teams. Communicate and present findings to relevant stakeholders and suggest solutions based on the analysis.
- Work with the Director of Sportsbook, BI & Data Analytics to establish the appropriate mechanisms for analysing the performance of the sportsbook business, identifying growth opportunities, and communicating these back to the wider business teams.
- Provide commercial commentary on business performance to internal stakeholders for major marketing campaigns and sporting events.
- Alongside the Director of Sports & relevant internal departments, you will be responsible for cost management and ROI attribution for all third-party sportsbook services.

Alongside the Director of Sports and other relevant teams, you will sign off on promotional plans, identify 'risks,' and ensure that these are raised for attention/action within the appropriate internal teams.

Collaborate, investigate, define, and deliver our Sportsbook strategic initiatives, including but not limited to new market entries, brand expansions, and the integration of third-party providers.
- Proactively suggest new investigations and analyses using various data tools to determine the best course of action.
Your areas of knowledge and experience:
- A profound understanding of business and product knowledge. Excellent understanding of customer profiling and betting trends. A strong passion for sports and knowledge of betting is essential.
- An analytical background with the ability to deliver solutions in a timely manner.
- Over 3 years of experience in online sports betting and its dynamics.
- Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English. Speaking another language is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, basic data analytics, Google Docs, PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation skills.
- A passionate and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Commitment, self-driven, and ambitious.
- Experience working with BI tools such as QlikView, Tableau, Power BI, or a similar tool.
