ABOUT THE ROLE 

 

We are in search of a Senior Backend Engineer to strengthen our Platform Team. This role requires expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining the platform solutions that underpins our essential business systems. Your responsibility will be pivotal in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our platform.

 

As an essential member of the Team Engineering Effectiveness, you will collaborate with fellow engineers, architects, and stakeholders. The goal is clear: to ensure that our platform aligns perfectly with the operational demands of our business.

  

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:  

●       Ensuring scalability and fault tolerance of systems through the implementation of microservices architecture. 

●       Design and develop the platform architecture that supports our business-critical systems

●       Building and maintaining complex systems to optimize performance and functionality. 

  

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS 

●       3+ years of experience with common Java frameworks like Spring and JPA. 

●       Proficiency in relational databases, particularly MySQL. 

●       Experience in building scalable and fault-tolerant systems with a focus on microservices architecture. 

●       Strong knowledge of version control using Git/Github and issue tracking with Jira. 

●       Demonstrated expertise in building complex systems and understanding their functionalities. 

NICE TO HAVES  

●        Experience with any front end coding language
