ABOUT THE ROLE
Our mission is to create the safest and greatest online gaming experience, and as our Safer Gambling Manager you will be responsible for leading our Safer Gambling team in a collaborative and innovative environment. This position is an opportunity to lead and develop a high performing Safer Gambling team, ensuring operational excellence whilst adhering to regulatory requirements.
In this role you will work closely with the Head of Responsible Gambling, to develop and execute an operational strategy aligned with company goals, act as an escalation point for high-priority issues, and facilitate communication across departments. Staying up to date with UK compliance requirements and evolving SG regulations is essential.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
● Lead and mentor the SG UK leadership team, supporting roles (QA & trainers) and Analysts
● Define appropriate KPIs for each role and conduct daily monitoring of these KPIs,
investigating and addressing any performance issues.
● Take ownership of and manage team KPIs to ensure that the team performs to the required standards to meet and exceed departmental KPIs
● Foster a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, togetherness and efficiency within the team
● Oversee daily operations within the team ensuring that staffing and coverage are adequate on a day to day basis
● Continuously review and improve team processes, with a key focus on efficiency, quality and compliance
● Collaborate closely with the Head of RG to develop and execute an operational RG strategy which is aligned with the Company’s overall goals and objectives
● Act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority issues, ensuring a timely and compliant resolution
● Facilitate open communication between teams and departments including other Operations teams, Compliance, Commercial, and Product to improve relationships and processes with key stakeholders
● Keep up to date with the Compliance requirements, SG policies and evolving SG regulations for the UK market
● Assist in the creation, development, implementation and/or acquisition of tools and
technologies which will help to improve team performance and protect customers from harm
● Contribute to discussions around budget planning and allocation for the department, as well as discussions related to headcount and staffing
● Reports to the Head of RG
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
● Previous leadership experience within SG or a related department is required
● Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
● Confidence in making decisions under pressure
● Ability to understand the needs of the wider business and how these relate and affect the SG team
● Strong ability to build relationships with team members and different stakeholders across the business
● Capable of aligning team efforts with organizational goals
● Ability to analyze data, evaluate performance metrics and make informed decisions based on these
● Ability to adjust quickly to changing environments and challenges
