ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Head of Responsible Gambling to join LeoVegas and take ownership of our RG operations, drive strategy, efficiency, and compliance across all markets. Reporting to the COO, you’ll lead and support the RG leadership team, ensuring the highest standards of player protection while fostering collaboration with key departments such as Compliance, Customer Support, Risk & Fraud, and AML. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Overseeing the day-to-day management of RG operations.
- Leading and mentoring the RG Leaders team, providing guidance and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals.
- Following up on departmental goals and targets for respective Team Leaders (TLs) or Managers, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.
- Supporting RG Team Leaders in handling escalations across all markets, ensuring timely resolutions within pre-set SLAs.
- Defining and reviewing strategic priorities for the RG team, fostering a customer-centric approach to responsible gaming.
- Developing and delivering a strategic and operational roadmap for Responsible Gaming.
- Maintaining strong relationships with and managing expectations of different stakeholders throughout the business, making sure that everyone is aligned on the RG strategy
- Monitoring team performance closely, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Suggesting and implementing process simplifications to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Ensuring full adherence to compliance requirements across all relevant licensing authorities.
- Collaborating with Compliance Officers on escalations and qualitative reporting.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with other operational departments, including Customer Support (CS), Risk, Fraud & Payments (RFP), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
- Working closely with the Data and Analytics team to provide qualitative analysis of results, model output and identify improvement opportunities of such tools
- Ensuring the RG team remains aligned with priorities and departmental objectives.
- Providing ongoing support and development opportunities for team members.
- Performing other duties consistent with the role as required to meet the needs of the business.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Responsible Gaming, compliance, or a related operational area within the iGaming industry.
- Strong understanding of RG practices, licensing requirements, and compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a track record of defining and delivering operational roadmaps.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration across departments.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with key operational areas such as Customer Support, AML, and Risk and Payments is an advantage.
