Due to our continued growth, we’re now looking for a AML EDD Quality Assurance Specialist to join our high performing team.
The EDD Quality Assurance Specialist within the AML department plays a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the efficiency of AML Enhanced Due Diligence operations. This position is specifically focused on assessing the quality and accuracy of EDD processes, documentation, and decision-making procedures to ensure rigorous due diligence for high-risk and high-roller customers. As a key member of the team, the QA Specialist will contribute to maintaining the highest standards in AML practices and compliance within the organization
As our EDD Quality Assurance Specialist you will..
- EDD Process Evaluation: Review and assess EDD processes, including customer risk assessments, enhanced due diligence investigations, and risk classification, to ensure the specialists are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
- Documentation Review: Scrutinize EDD documentation, including customer files, risk assessments, and investigative specialists reviews, to verify the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of information.
- Decision Quality Assurance: Evaluate decisions made by EDD specialists and provide feedback to ensure they are well-founded and in compliance with AML regulations and company policies.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on the results of quality assurance reviews, highlighting findings and making recommendations for corrective actions and process improvements.
- Training and Awareness: Collaborate with the AML trainers/ leaders to provide guidance, feedback, and support to improve the quality of AML processes and decision-making.
- Risk Identification: Identify areas of operational risk within the AML Department and make recommendations for process improvements, compliance enhancements, and additional training to mitigate potential risks.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with relevant regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure that the AML ops remains compliant and effective.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Assist the Process Adherence Manager in any ad-hoc tasks related to AML quality assurance and process improvement.
Your areas of knowledge and experience:
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in the AML Enhanced Due Diligence space within the online gambling industry.
- Expert knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations and best practices, particularly as they relate to Enhanced Due Diligence, source of income, source of wealth and income documentation in different jurisdictions
- Prior experience in quality assurance, compliance, or AML-related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities, especially in relation to giving feedback.
- Knowledge of Evaluagent is an advantage, but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
