Currently, we are seeking a Senior DevOps with a strong English level to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for: 

Position Title: Senior DevOps
Location: Remote / Colombia
What you will be doing:
This role will be responsible for streamlining our development pipeline automation processes, managing our IT infrastructure, and overseeing the release management cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, IT systems administration, a strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration, and software release management. The successful candidate will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate software build, test, and deployment processes, and manage cloud infrastructure. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of company data and systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting for staff, and managing software licenses and hardware inventory. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration, as well as experience with containerization and orchestration technologies. 
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate software build, test, and deployment processes
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  • Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve software delivery processes
  • Manage and maintain company-wide IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and end-user devices
  • Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery systems
  • Manage software licenses and hardware inventory
  • Provision and configure servers
  • Monitor and troubleshoot server issues
  • Apply security patches and updates
  • Manage network: provisioning of IP addresses, security and firewall rules, etc.
  • Rightsizing and scaling servers
  • Monitor spending and optimize costs
  • Coordinate and schedule software releases across multiple teams and projects
  • Ensure proper version control and documentation of releases
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and manage release risks
  • Create release branches
  • Deploy to test environments
  • Deploy to production
  • Apply database schema and data migrations
  • Document release notes
  • Monitor and troubleshoot any issues
  • Facilitate communication between development, QA, and operations teams
  • Track and report on release metrics and KPIs

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Main Skills:
These are the must-haves that are essential for this position. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, IT administration, or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools mainly Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy. 
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI is considered nice to have
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, and PowerShell)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation and Cloud Development Kit)
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with monitoring tools: Datadog
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration
  • Experience with release management processes and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Secondary Skills:
These are additional skills that will help you succeed in this role. 
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, ITIL, Certified Scrum Master)
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Experience in a multi-cloud environment
  • Experience with additional CI/CD tools
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools other than Terraform
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Experience with additional monitoring tools
