Position Title: Mid to Mid+ Revenue Operations Commission Specialist
 
Location: On-Site - Colombia Offices
 
What you will be doing:
 
The Revenue Operations Commission Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring data accuracy by analyzing data related to premiums and cancellations. This position requires proficiency in tools such as Excel, Salesforce, Snowflake, and Looker to generate commission statements and build analytical systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Specialist develops actionable insights and data-driven solutions, while building and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools. With a strong emphasis on clear communication, this role involves presenting complex information in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, there is an opportunity to innovate and drive process improvements within the revenue operations team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze and ensure accuracy of policies, rates, and commission statements using data pulled from premium and cancellation systems.
  • Design and implement solutions for operational excellence in handling external commissions.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards to provide actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Cleanse, process, and ensure data integrity from various sources, monitoring for quality and resolving discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Develop reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings using tools such as Looker and Tableau.
  • Collaborate with leadership to uncover insights for process improvements and data requirements.
  • Utilize data manipulation tools such as Excel, Access, and SQL for analysis and reporting tasks.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Graduate (Master’s Degree, JD or Ph.D.) (preferred)
  • +2 years of experience in Analytics role (finance, sales, etc)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Functions: nested statements, pivots, vlookups, IF - To Create: templates, trackers, reports, repeatability, ease of refresh, normalize inconsistent data)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Snowflake, and Looker for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Experience with Access and SQL (Select, Case, Where, Join, Group).
  • Proven experience in data manipulation and analysis using tools like Excel, Salesforce, Snowflake, Looker, and Tableau.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues independently.
  • Prior experience working with large data sets and understanding data structures and systems.
  • Innovative mindset to contribute to process improvements and streamline operations.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with Python for data analysis and automation tasks.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools like Power BI or QlikView.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively across different time zones
  • The ability to work autonomously with a self-driven attitude, enabling effective data-driven decision-making and process improvements.
