Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid - Medellin
What you will be doing:
We are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize DevOps workflows within a modern Azure ecosystem. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and Azure-native tools such as BICEP templates and ARM templates. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless deployments, managing secrets through Azure Key Vault, and working with Azure app services to deliver high-performance solutions. This position requires a proactive, autonomous individual who thrives in a collaborative and task-driven environment, with the flexibility to work remotely while occasionally meeting with the team for alignment. Your responsibilities will include:
Azure DevOps Management:
- Manage and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for release management.
- Utilize Azure repositories for version control, ensuring secure and efficient code management.
- Implement and maintain artifacts as part of build and deployment processes.
Infrastructure and Automation:
- Work with Azure-native tools such as BICEP templates, ARM templates, and other modern Azure infrastructure components.
- Oversee secrets management using Azure Key Vault.
- Leverage Azure app services to manage and deploy applications.
Collaboration and Proactive Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows and alignment with project goals.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for DevOps processes and infrastructure.
- Maintain an autonomous, task-driven workflow while collaborating effectively with the team.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Azure pipelines, repositories, and Azure artifact management.
- Strong understanding of Azure-native tools such as BICEP templates, ARM templates, and Key Vault.
- Proficiency in Azure app services and modern Azure platform components.
- Experience with AWS is not directly transferable but is appreciated for cross-platform knowledge.
- Familiarity with cost optimization strategies for cloud environments.
- Highly autonomous and task-driven with a proactive attitude.
- Strong collaboration skills and willingness to meet occasionally for team alignment.
