Description

Overview:

Lean Tech is a rapidly expanding organization situated in Medellín, Colombia. We pride ourselves on possessing one of the most influential networks within software development and IT services for the entertainment, financial, and logistics sectors. Our corporate projections offer a multitude of opportunities for professionals to elevate their careers and experience substantial growth. Joining our team means engaging with expansive engineering teams across Latin America and the United States, contributing to cutting-edge developments in multiple industries.
We’re looking for a Mid to Mid+ No-Code/Low-Code developer to join our cross-functional product team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable digital products using modern low-code/no-code platforms. This role requires hands-on experience with Node.js,  Xano (backend), WeWeb (frontend), and SQL, along with strong knowledge of API design and product development workflows.
You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship high-impact features, implement AI-enhanced experiences, and optimize system performance. The ideal candidate is not just a builder, but someone who understands product thinking, trade-offs, and delivery at scale.

Position Title: Mid to Mid+ No-Code / Low-Code Developer
Location: LATAM

What you will be doing:
  • Build and maintain digital products using Node.js, Xano (backend) and WeWeb (frontend).
  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and data integrations with external systems.
  • Implement efficient SQL queries, manage relational data models, and ensure data quality across applications.
  • Apply SOLID principles and clean architecture practices to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Integrate AI tools such as ChatGPT APIs, VibeCoding, or LangChain to enhance user experience and automate workflows.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to turn product requirements into working software.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and agile ceremonies.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal tools and technical documentation.
  • Build with a mindset of Product Engineering: owning not just the "how" but also the "why" behind what is delivered.
  • Define SLAs, error-handling flows, and observability metrics for tools you build.
  • Support internal users and clients by resolving issues and iterating based on feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • 2+ years of experience building and maintaining software products using no-code/low-code platforms.
  • Proven experience with Xano (backend logic, DB design, endpoints) and WeWeb (frontend logic and UI).
  • Strong SQL knowledge, including joins, filtering, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and React (for deeper custom logic or advanced UI).
  • Experience working on real-world digital products (not just internal automations or forms).
  • Intermediate proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, especially for extending low-code logic.
  • Understanding of REST API design, authentication, and integration flows.
  • Ability to read and debug API documentation and connect external services.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and how they can be embedded in product workflows.
  • Clear communication, strong documentation habits, and collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience working in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) or SaaS environment.
  • Knowledge of AI prompt engineering, agents, or open-source LLM frameworks (LangChain, etc.).

  • Experience with building customer-facing products, dashboards, or internal platforms at scale.
  • Familiarity with tools like Make, n8n, Retool, Zapier for workflow automation.
  • Ability to design internal support processes (SLAs, tiering, ticket triage logic).

Soft Skill:
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with product thinking.
  • Ownership mentality, takes initiative and drives outcomes without handholding.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
