Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Quality team, the Analytical Chemist II supports product development, regulatory submissions, and commercialization efforts by providing accurate and timely chemical analyses. The Analytical Chemist collaborates cross-functionally to troubleshoot instrumentation, interpret data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, aligning with the company's mission to deliver innovative and reliable healthcare solutions. 
 
About the Role:
  • Develop and validate analytical methods and conduct routine analyses using HPLC, FTIR, dissolution apparatus, and other analytical instrumentation.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments.
  • Support stability studies by conducting long-term and accelerated testing of device components or drug-device combinations, if applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records in accordance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and ISO standards during all analytical activities.
  • Think creatively, problem solve, and develop innovative solutions based on sound scientific analysis and work collaboratively with other functions to support product lifecycle activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four-year degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with emphasis in analytical techniques or related field
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience using analytical instruments and conducting analysis.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations and medical device regulations and standards
  • Knowledge of Chromeleon (or equivalent) HPLC analysis software
  • Ability to execute controlled experiments with a strong attention to detail is esssential
