Who We’re Looking For:
The Director, Commercial Digital Solutions is a senior technology leader responsible for enabling revenue growth, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness through scalable digital platforms, with Salesforce as the strategic CRM backbone. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Executive Leadership to translate business strategy into high-impact technology solutions. This will include working with technical resources within their IT team, business partners in the commercial organization, and 3rd party strategic partners to implement, change, and support the solutions and platforms.
About the Role:
- Own the end‑to‑end technology strategy for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Lifecycle teams, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps leadership to align digital tools with go‑to‑market priorities.
- Lead the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and integrated applications—defining the platform roadmap and overseeing architecture, configuration, customization, integrations, and data model design.
- Drive adoption of best‑in‑class digital solutions that strengthen pipeline visibility, lead‑to‑revenue execution, customer engagement, and analytics/AI‑driven insights; modernize workflows to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure strong data quality, governance, reporting, and compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC, internal controls).
- Lead digital transformation initiatives across Sales and Marketing, including lead‑to‑cash workflows, marketing automation, customer journey orchestration, personalization, and AI‑enabled insights.
- Establish delivery governance for Sales & Marketing technology, including prioritization, release management, and change control; champion user‑centric design to ensure high adoption and intuitive experiences.
- Manage relationships with Salesforce, system integrators, and SaaS vendors; oversee technology budgets, licensing, and vendor spend across the portfolio.
- Build and lead high‑performing teams (admins, developers, architects, BAs), providing mentorship and developing future technical leaders while balancing speed‑to‑market with architectural integrity and operational stability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role supporting Sales and Marketing organizations.
- Proven experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations and ongoing platform evolution.
- Strong track record delivering digital transformation initiatives that directly impact revenue growth and customer experience.
- Experience working in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, and Executive stakeholders.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, including: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CRM Analytics / Reporting and Integrations (APIs, middleware, data platforms)
- Familiarity with marketing automation, customer data platforms (CDP), analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance, and system integration patterns.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technology execution.
- Executive-level communication, stakeholder management skills, strong financial acumen, including budget ownership and ROI analysis.
- Change leadership experience driving adoption across global or distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Architect, Platform Developer, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant).
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, or complex sales environments.
- Exposure to agile delivery methodologies and product-based operating models.
- Experience leveraging AI and advanced analytics to improve sales productivity and marketing effectiveness.
