Who We’re Looking For:
The Global Business Unit (GBU) Finance Manager serves as the Finance Business Partner for the Maternal & Child Health (MCH) and Gastroenterology (GI) business units, providing financial leadership, insight, analysis, and decision support to drive profitable growth and business performance. This role partners closely with Commercial Leadership, FP&A, Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align financial objectives with business strategy and support informed decision-making across the organization.
The Finance Manager is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, performance management, pricing and profitability analysis, investment evaluation, and strategic business support. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, this individual translates financial and operational data into actionable insights and recommendations that improve business performance, maximize return on investment, and support the achievement of organizational goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functions to drive results.
About the Role:
- Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to Commercial Leadership, providing strategic financial guidance and decision support to drive growth, profitability, and business performance.
- Partner with business leaders to develop and execute commercial strategies, evaluate opportunities, and translate financial and operational insights into actionable recommendations that drive business performance.
- Lead annual operating plan, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and financial commitments.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level financial analyses, business reviews, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including Commercial Finance, FP&A, and business partnering roles.
- Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and performance analysis.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities combined with strong business judgment.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
- Strong data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development capabilities.
- Experience developing KPIs, business cases, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial planning/reporting tools.
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and visualization platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, Master's degree, CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred.
- Experience supporting commercial organizations within healthcare, medical device, or life sciences industries.
