Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of the Maternal Child Health (MCH) team, the Clinical Educator is a field‑based clinical expert responsible for delivering high‑impact education and supporting adoption of the MCH portfolio. This role partners closely with Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN, and NICU teams to ensure safe, effective product use while advancing standards of maternal and neonatal care. Operating alongside Territory Managers, the Clinical Educator blends hands‑on clinical education with defined performance accountability tied to product adoption, utilization, and sustained clinical success.
About the Role:
- Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based education, in‑services, simulations, and hands‑on training to OB teams (L&D, Mother Baby, Surgical), OB/GYN providers, midwives, NICU clinicians, and neonatal transport teams.
- Lead clinical onboarding, evaluations, pilot programs, early case coverage, and post‑implementation support to drive adoption, appropriate use, and sustained utilization across the MCH portfolio.
- Partner with Territory Managers and Regional Sales Directors to execute clinical education initiatives that support territory performance goals, utilization metrics, and account expansion.
- Serve as a trusted clinical and technical resource for customers, while providing field insights and feedback to Sales, Medical Affairs, and Marketing teams and supporting new product launches.
- Ensure education is delivered consistently, compliantly, and in alignment with IFUs, clinical guidelines, and Laborie standards by maintaining high-quality documentation, tracking educational impact, reinforcing best practices post‑implementation, and contributing to the development of scalable clinical education programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Nursing strongly preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 5+ years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, OB/GYN, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and/or NICU settings.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship building skills
- Comfort operating in a performance-driven field role
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80% based on geography)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in clinical education, medical device sales support, or product launches
- Familiarity with hospital systems, IDNs, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Experience with maternal or neonatal medical devices
