Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of our R&D team, the Portfolio Director will play a crucial role in directing our growth and shaping the future direction of the Interventional Urology Global Business Unit at Laborie.  The primary focus of the position will be to support the R&D deliverables for Drug Coated Balloon (DCB) design and related process at our facility located in Plymouth, MN. 
 

About the Role:

  • Provide strong technical leadership with respect to design elements of our growing DCB program.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the portfolio strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
  • Help to drive the scope, development, and implementation of programs to enhance the development and release of products.
  • Work collaboratively to develop and refine requirements and collaborate to translate the requirements to efficient testing and design for DCB. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a portfolio director or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience with drug coated balloons, design, manufacturing and sustaining the business.
  • Extensive background in medical device development, testing, requirements development and deployment.
  • 5-10 years leading cross functional teams both direct and external resources.
