Who We’re Looking For:

As a key member of the IT team, the IT Desktop Technician will deliver skilled, professional, and customer-focused technical support to LABORIE employees, ensuring reliable access to technology and systems that support the business. Collaborate with IT team members across key technologies, support end-to-end incident and request resolution, and contribute to projects that drive innovative, secure, and scalable technology solutions across the organization.

About the Role:

  • Troubleshoot, support, and resolve incoming technical issues for Laborie team members, including hardware and software issues.
  • Provide problem analysis to collect repetitive issues and drive to closure through root cause analysis and other ITIL processes.
  • Identify, research, and recommend automation tools and other modern solutions to better enhance the Laborie user experience.
  • Partner with providers, such as technology suppliers and wireless carriers, to provide devices, solutions, and support to the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Competency in a wide range of desktop technologies including MS Windows, Apple OS, Active Directory, User and Group Management, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience using Microsoft System Center Configurations Manager (SCCM) and/or InTune to create and deploy packages and manage endpoint device compliance.
  • Ability to use collaboration tools including MS Teams, as well as remote support tools like GoToAssist.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in information technology ore related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Service/Help Desk or technical support role. 
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Windows, Apple OS, Active Directory/Entra ID, User and Group Management, and MS Office Suite.
