Operations Coordinator – Mining Tire Group (MTG)
Role Description
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the MTG Canada leadership team.
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel, and logistics, including large-scale events and functions.
- Track action items, priorities, and deliverables to ensure timely follow-up.
- Support the VP and leadership team with strategic coordination and special projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, HR, finance, administration) to support business initiatives.
- Assist with onboarding coordination and general HR-related administrative support.
- Act as a liaison for administrative teams across regions to identify and improve processes and workflows.
- Prepare and coordinate reports, presentations, and business documentation.
- Manage correspondence, internal communications, and administrative processes (invoices, signatures, lists).
- Support SharePoint and internal collaboration tools, including user support and content updates.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative, operations coordination, or executive support role.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, projects, and logistics with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience supporting senior leaders is an asset.
- Experience with SharePoint or collaboration tools is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in administration or equivalent experience.
Special Requirements
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Flexibility in work hours may be required.
- Overtime may be required during peak periods, projects, or special events.
