Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing
 
Role Description
Reporting to the President, The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales and marketing strategies of the organization. This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth, enhancing brand presence, and ensuring alignment between sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business objectives. The SVP will work closely with senior leadership, including the President and other executives, to develop and execute strategic plans that foster business expansion and market competitiveness.

 Core Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue and market expansion.
  • Oversee dealership sales performance, ensuring achievement of volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Establish and optimize sales processes, including customer acquisition, lead conversion, and retention.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to set pricing strategies, incentives, and promotions.
  • Drive new business development opportunities, including partnerships and corporate sales.
 Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Oversee digital and traditional marketing efforts, including advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, and public relations.
  • Implement data-driven marketing strategies to optimize return on investment (ROI) and customer reach.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all customer touchpoints.
  • Leverage insights from market research, customer feedback, and industry trends to refine marketing strategies.
 Customer Experience & Loyalty
  • Develop strategies to enhance the overall customer experience across sales and service touchpoints.
  • Implement CRM initiatives to improve customer engagement, loyalty, and retention.
  • Monitor and analyze customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., Net Promoter Score, customer reviews).
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the omnichannel experience, including online-to-offline customer journeys.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and marketing team.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability for sales and marketing teams.
  • Foster a results-driven and customer-centric culture within the organization.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
 Operational & Financial Management
  • Set and manage sales and marketing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and revenue maximization.
  • Collaborate with dealership managers, vendors, and external partners to optimize sales and marketing effectiveness.
  • Leverage technology and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize sales performance.
  • Prepare and present reports to executive leadership on sales performance, marketing ROI, and market trends.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
 Work Experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, with at least 5 years at the executive level.
  • Relevant industry experience in automotive services & tire solutions is a strong asset. 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and brand enhancement.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in digital marketing, CRM, and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

 Special Requirements                   
  • Ability to travel, including internationally as required.

  • The target base compensation for this role is $230,000 to $375,000 per year based on experience, with competitive annual variable and long term incentive bonus plans.
