Sales Analytics - Lead
Description
- Drive reporting and analytics focused on supporting sales execution and velocity through data-driven insights
- Design, implement, and enhance analytics frameworks that measure sales effectiveness, identify performance gaps, and recommend actionable strategies for continuous improvement
- Establish and refine standardized reporting for sales operations, including pipeline analysis, forecasting accuracy, and sales cycle efficiency
- Develop and manage Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards and cadence to provide real-time visibility into sales trends, enabling data-driven decision-making
- Conduct deep-dive analysis on leading and lagging indicators to uncover opportunities for revenue growth and process optimization
- Provide sales leadership with regular reporting on sales team and account performance, offering strategic insights to improve productivity and revenue generation
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align sales strategies with business objectives and enhance reporting capabilities
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in sales processes and implementing analytics-based solutions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in the areas of analytics, sales operations, and/or finance
- Proven experience in sales analytics, Business Intelligence (BI), or sales operations with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau analytics tools
- Demonstrated problem-solving experience
- Strong understanding of the capture and utilization of data to drive increased sales performance and revenue attainment
- Expertise in creating reports and dashboards on key sales metrics
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, analytics tools, and data visualization techniques
- Advanced modeling skills with a passion for using data to drive better decision-making
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Previous experience directly leading teams
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to continuous improvement driven change with a positive attitude
