Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Sales Business Partner to join our Fireplaces Business Unit focusing on the Home Improvement market.
We are seeking a well-positioned candidate to manage our US Based Channel Partners with a strong preference for this individual to be based out of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) region.

The Fireplaces Business Unit is one of our key business units within Hearth & Home Technologies, featuring leading brands such as Heat & Glo, Majestic, Heatilator, and more. This business unit is dedicated to advancing fireplace technology and design, reflecting our commitment to exceptional quality and comfort.
The stated range reflects a comprehensive total target compensation package. This includes a competitive base salary combined with maximum performance-based bonus potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business and ensure profitable growth of channel partner accounts in existing home/remodel
- Manage assigned brands and products within designated markets/partners to effectively exceed key metric goals and grow HHT share and the overall market size for the hearth category
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade partners to ensure long-term growth and commitment to HHT being preferred vendor of choice
- Execute on assigned activities to drive customer behaviors to align with HHT’s sales and strategic plan
- Execute with strong working knowledge of the remodel/home improvement products industry
- Effectively deliver training, marketing programs, strategic initiatives, and product expertise to trade partners
- Partner with architects, designers, and builders to support national builder programs, A&D initiatives, and specifications
- Work trade shows and events as necessary to drive growth and key initiatives
- Develop deep understanding of existing home market including competitive manufacturers, competitive trade partners, local/national codes and changing dynamics that impact the hearth business
- Partner with leadership to deploy playbooks and develop strategies that will continue to improve HHT’s position in the market
- Effectively run the sales process and standard work of the assigned role
- Effectively work cross function to gain support as needed and provide support and intel to drive trade market and market into the HHT organization
- Partner with dealers to assess current performance, identify gaps, and implement step‑by‑step improvement plans
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to improve product knowledge, selling confidence, and closing effectiveness
- Build strong, trusted relationships with dealer principals, managers, and sales staff to support long‑term partnership success
- Monitor dealer performance metrics and market trends; provide insights, updates, and recommendations to leadership
- Travel extensively to dealer locations nationwide to provide hands‑on coaching, support, and execution leadership
Minimum Requirements
- 3 or more years of professional B2B sales experience with a history of successful goal and metric attainment
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- Demonstrated success in account management, prioritizing market opportunities, and effectively selling both in person and virtually
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with effective presentation capabilities
- Ability to deliver compelling messaging, influence sales, and work comfortably with all levels within an organization
- High level of business ethics, personal integrity, and a self-motivated passion for success
- Strong time management skills to handle a prioritized action plan alongside computer proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM systems)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven history of successful goal and metric attainment specifically within the Hearth & Home Technologies (HHT) sales organization
- Natural informal leader of the sales team who proactively shares best practices and serves as a primary "go-to" resource
- Ability to effectively influence and guide trade partner owners, operations teams, and external sales departments
- Strong financial acumen used to build trade partner profit propositions and drive aggressive, profitable corporate growth
- Proven ability to become a deeply trusted business partner capable of driving external results and organizational change
