This role is the enterprise owner of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) operating model. While functional leaders own demand, supply, and financial plans, this role is accountable for integration, governance, and decision readiness, ensuring a single, enterprise‑aligned plan is presented to executive leadership each month. This role governs the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle across the Fireplace and Stove Business Units. Operating as the enterprise process owner and facilitator at the intersection of demand, supply, and finance, this role is accountable for the rigor, cadence, and integrity of the planning process.
Key responsibilities
Enterprise Ownership of Integrated Business Planning
  • Own the design, governance, and evolution of the enterprise IBP framework and monthly cadence
  • Lead the end‑to‑end IBP cycle, including demand, supply, financial reconciliation, and executive review
  • Facilitate cross‑functional trade‑offs, driving alignment to a single integrated plan
Forecast Quality and Planning Discipline
  • Define and govern enterprise forecast standards across demand and financial horizons
  • Develop and maintain executive‑level metrics for forecast accuracy, bias, and plan adherence
  • Lead root‑cause and corrective‑action discussions to improve forecast reliability
Integration of Operational and Financial Plans
  • Reconcile operational plans with the financial plan of record, including budget and rolling forecast
  • Translate operational scenarios into financial implications across margin, inventory, and working capital
  • Consolidate enterprise risks and opportunities into a forward‑looking, scenario‑based view
Executive Enablement and Enterprise Alignment
  • Curate and facilitate executive IBP reviews with one aligned, enterprise‑level narrative
  • Align assumptions and trade‑offs across Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance
  • Elevate decisions requiring executive action while reinforcing functional accountability
Planning Capability and Tool Advancement
  • Advance IBP tools, templates, and planning rhythms to improve speed and insight
  • Partner with IT and Finance on planning systems and analytics evolution
  • Coach planning partners on IBP discipline and executive‑level communication
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, supply chain, or planning within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands‑on experience leading or materially supporting a monthly IBP or S&OP process, including executive reviews
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, planning systems, ERP/MRP environments, and master scheduling principles
  • Proven ability to influence across functions without direct authority
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multi‑plant or complex manufacturing environments
  • Background in durable goods, building products, HVAC, or appliance industries
  • Experience with advanced planning and analytics platforms (e.g., TM1, IBP solutions, Kinaxis, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with structured problem‑solving methods such as 5‑Why, A3, or Kaizen
