The Manager of Construction and Development supports the corporate mission of providing the public access to health care by managing the real estate, design and construction of our centers as we rapidly grow. This position requires a person who is able to take ownership of the process and drive our external vendors to completion. They should be able to meet challenges head on and move to a quick resolution.  

Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Work Experience
• Min 3-4 years’ experience in construction (retail and/or healthcare a plus)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
.
Responsibilities include:
• Tour new real estate sites to determine if they will accommodate our typical design
• Partner with functional groups on new market development
• Work with our architect to design new centers that stay true to our award winning design
• Provide weekly updates to leadership on the progress of construction
• Forecast and schedule projects from lease execution to opening
• Review landlord’s Work letter and validate the work has been properly performed.
• Manage construction and maintenance budgets
• Review and understand our lease agreements
• Facilitate communication between our marketing team, signage vendor, landlords and municipalities to ensure exterior signage is installed on time and within budget
• Mange repairs to the centers and provide timely communication on schedule
• Ensure centers are being cleaned and maintained properly by our external vendor
• Provide weekly updates to leadership on the progress of construction
• Vetting numerous vendors to provide services and/or supplies for the Clinic
• Performs other duties as assigned
