Sr. Director, Marketing Operations
Description
- Manage budgetary control for Marketing organization, including strong operational cadence.
- Management and development of the marketing operations team with skilled personnel to quickly address infrastructure issues and drive immediate value to the business.
- Leading the effort to employ best practices processes in the areas of B-B lead management and drive significant improvements in marketing data quality.
- Manage technical aspects of web infrastructure (CMS) and demand marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, project management, ticketing) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads, and marketing metrics across the Demand Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing, Channel and Alliances Marketing, and Product Marketing functions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership in developing, understanding, and utilizing metrics that matter to support marketing goals and business efforts.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and customer service within and around marketing operations and act as a primary liaison to IT, sales operations and channel operations.
- Provide project management support for all marketing functions to ensure timely delivery and execution for significant launch events across the team.
- Manage regular interlock meetings to ensure cross-team collaboration and coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or Analytics.
- Experience in marketing operations, with additional time in a closely related role in marketing or sales.
- Experience working with and effectively influencing senior management.
- Leadership and initiative to see what needs to be done and build plans and support to execute.
- Maniacally focused on making decisions based on data and analytics
- Must be strategically analytical and operations focused while also providing strong oversight of tactical responsibilities.
- Be well organized and have a passion for reporting performance metrics.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills with proven success in motivating, mentoring, and creating an environment where the best talent wants to be.
- Demonstrated ability to build highly effective working relationships with sales, marketing and IT.
- Strong verbaland written communications skills with very strong presentation skills
- The ideal candidate will be strategic as well as tactical and possess strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- A sense of urgency and results-orientation.
