Regional Sales Director - Orange County - Hybrid
Description
Gigamon is looking for a motivated Regional Sales Director to drive sales and expand adoption of Gigamon capabilities in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial self-starter with a strong direct sales background.
- Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities.
- Manage the sales lifecycle and achieve sales budgets by growing existing accounts and developing new ones.
- Maintain a customer database in Salesforce.
- Conduct effective sales calls and secure incremental business.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Managers and Product Managers to identify market opportunities and develop business strategies.
- Attend trade shows and provide market insights.
- Assist in product development and training lower-level sales staff.
- BA/BS in Business, CIS, or related field preferred.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Analytical skills in a high-performance environment.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, quoting software, SQL, and Crystal Reports is a plus.
- Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills.
