School Social Worker 
Full &Part-Time | Baltimore, MD

We are currently seeking a full-time MD Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Master Social Workers or Graduate Professional Counselor to work in Baltimore County non-public K-8 schools for the 2023-2024 school year. Full and Part-time work available. Hourly rate ranges from $35-40/hr.

Be their advocate, confidence builder, and difference maker. 
 
Play a critical role in supporting the behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development of students. With our resources and ongoing support, you can be wholly present and do what you love to do: create a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment that fosters student growth and development. 
 
How you’ll do it: 
  • Works with both school personnel and parents to develop specific interventions on behalf of student.
  • Interprets assessments/results and generates reports for feedback to parents and school personnel.
  • Advises teachers and other school personnel on methods to enhance students abilities.
  • Works as a referral agent linking students and families when appropriate with "outside" agencies to service their needs.
  • Supports students with academic and emotional needs that interfere with academic success.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What we’ll need from you: 

  • Maryland LCSW, LMSW, or LGPC 
    • Supervision for LGPCs is available
  • At least two years experience in field preferred.
  • Knowledge of testing and evaluation techniques and competent in assessment procedures and interpretation of the results.
  • Proficient in Virtual platforms, ex: Zoom, MS Office 365, etc.
