Academic Interventionist

· ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
· Attends training sessions, passes content assessment, and delivers designated instructional models and strategies in reading, mathematics, and writing skills to eligible students through utilization of Company materials and educational strategies.
· Internalizes and delivers individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans to elementary and/or secondary aged students on school campus.
· Works with students on math and/or reading in a small-group setting, typically no more than 6 students in the group. Students are provided Tier 2 academic intervention supports.
· Analyzes and uses student data to inform instruction
· Ensures supervision of students at all times, including escorting students safely to and from the classroom.
· Establishes and maintains student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
· Attends and documents conferences/meetings/trainings with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
· Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic teacher we seek has these qualifications:
· Currently resides on the Island of Oahu
· Bachelor's degree in Education required. Teacher's license highly preferred.
· Experience working directly with children who are attending primary and/or secondary school.
· Experience using and following scripted curriculum and can demonstrate ability to differentiate and scaffold instruction for students.
· Using student data to inform instruction.
· Experience teaching Math and Reading to students in a grades K-12 setting/school campus
· Classroom/small setting experience
Other essential requirements:
· Must understand that all children can learn.
· Must demonstrate positive and enthusiastic attitude towards internal and external customers.
· Must be flexible with changes that improve student outcomes.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
SALARY RANGE / SCHEDULE:
· Salary Rate: $54,000-$57,000 for an 8.5 month position
· Schedule: Generally, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30a-3:30p from August 2024 to May 2025. Work is conducted in-person on a school campus.
