Senior Video Producer:

Experience:

Pharma experience preferred, with at least 5 years’ experience as a video producer, familiar with various types of projects. Hispanic market video producing and bilingual skills a plus.

 

Key Qualities:

  • Be a trustworthy team player in the larger Production/Post-Production Department
  • Bring forward thoughtful, quality, video production partners for consideration.
  • Ability to manage a variety of project types, in various stages of development, across three portfolios, with equal attention to detail.
  • Experience in overseeing entire video production process, from estimating, planning, bidding, pre-production, production and post-production.
  • Attend and supervise production shoots, or post-production edits when applicable.
  • Personality and communication style amenable to interact with dozens of brand account leads and creatives.
  • Proactive anticipation while producing, to keep team and project requirements on track.
  • Gain trust that you have all details well in hand, and are on top of changing client and team needs.
  • Passion to create great work, no matter what the budget or timing suggest.
  • Ability to combine creative problem-solving abilities with production experience, to elevate overall project quality.
  • Experience in asking the tough questions, if there is a better way to execute.
  • Experience in creating estimates, production calendars and bid specs
  • Natural inclination to build strong relationships with account, creative, and PM leads.
  • Gain trust that you have all details well in hand, and are on top of changing client and team needs.
  • Understand basic rights/usage options in relation to your projects.
  • Work with paymaster, production partners and team members to secure talent contracts and releases to facilitate payments if needed.
  • Input talent or art usage information into departmental database, to successful track future renewal needs. 
  • Work with Head of Production and project managers to facilitate contracts and purchase orders for work you’ve awarded.
  • Ability to cull reels from prospective partners, to put forth the right mix of talent for creative consideration, given timing and budget.
  • Leverage your industry reputation and network to secure reasonable rates for quality work.
  • Be flexible with changing agency processes that may be refined for smart workflows.
