SUMMARY 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Early-Career Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in electrical engineering and a passion for working on complex systems such as drones, medical devices, or consumer electronics. This role requires a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Electrical Engineer at Edge, you will assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for our innovative products. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure our systems' successful integration and performance. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our products and processes. The following job functions are a basic requirement but are not limited to and may be assigned other duties.

  • Design and Development: Assist in designing and developing electrical systems and components for complex products.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated system designs.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for designs, test procedures, and test results.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 1-4 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Solid foundation in electrical engineering principles, including analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer) and simulation tools.
  • Experience with testing and validation processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook).

 

 

Education / Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
