Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
We are looking for a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure our suppliers meet quality standards and align with company specifications. In this role, you'll oversee supplier selection, conduct quality audits, manage non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement efforts. You'll collaborate with procurement, production, and R&D teams to maintain supplier performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality performance and adherence to specifications.
Conduct audits and manage corrective actions, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Develop Supplier Quality Agreements and collaborate on quality control plans.
Monitor supplier performance, addressing non-conformances and driving continuous improvement.
Lead supplier development initiatives and support advanced quality tools like FMEA and SPC.
Oversee non-conformance and quality improvement activities.
Assess risks and contribute to mitigation strategies for supplier quality issues.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery and production.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably related to quality.
Experience in supplier quality management and quality auditing.
Understanding of quality management systems and industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in non-conformance management and using quality methods ( CAPA).
Familiarity with quality improvement tools such as FMEA, SPC, and control plans.
High accuracy and sense of responsibility, as well as the ability to work in dynamic conditions.
Good communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Experience in leading team would be a plus .
Fluent Latvian and English.
