Are YOU our next Manager, Operations? 
As a Regional Manager, Health Services, you will be accountable for the operation of the Regional Patient Service locations in accordance with Dynacare’s strategic and operating plans. Your primary function is building great teams through strong, positive employee relations and creating a work environment that supports the delivery of exemplary customer service and a positive patient experience. Other accountabilities are efficient utilization of resources, budget implementation and fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
This is a permanent full-time position. Ability to travel more than 75% of the time to ensure high level visibility to front line team members and customers

How YOU will make a difference:
  • Responsible for transforming the patient services locations within a region to a new delivery model designed to ensure an excellent patient experience through consistent, outstanding customer service
  • Foster an environment of positive employee relations and strong teamwork while working in compliance with established human resources policies and practices
  • Build and manage an effective team through strategic hiring, training, performance management, coaching and recognition
  • Analyze and make recommendations to continuously improve workflow processes to assure consistency and quality in the delivery of service to patients, laboratory operations and clients
  • Conduct metric reviews of area PSC’s to ensure key indicators of cost, quality, delivery, safety and customer experience are being met or exceeded, and introduce corrective actions where required
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects along with regional goals and objectives aligned with corporate strategy
  • Develop and administer regional operating budgets, identify potential cost saving and make recommendations for improvement
  • Responsible for completing operating reports using metrics and key performance indicators
  • Pursue ongoing continuing education to ensure awareness of new industry or regional trends, developments, laws regulations, and technology
  • Support the Business Development team with the establishment of new clients
  • Oversee maintenance and renovation programs for each location in the region in conjunction with the Manager, Support Services
  • Demonstrate Dynacare’s core values with every customer interaction (internal and external). These values include being client and patient-focused, anticipating and exceeding expectations, acting with integrity and treating others with respect
 
What YOU bring to the role:
  • Understanding of laboratory operations, processes and key performance indicators
  • Understanding of customer service best practices and demonstrated ability applying that knowledge in high volume, time sensitive environments
  • Post-Secondary education in Healthcare, Science or Business
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a high paced, customer facing environment is preferred
  • Ability to develop, implement and/or improve the patient/client experience applying people management and industry best practices
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
  • Phlebotomy skills (an asset)
  • Lean Six Sigma and/or Change Management training is considered an asset
  • Ability to effectively lead a team, manage conflict and champion change
  • Ability to adapt to and thrive within a team environment with competing and changing demands
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage, prioritize and collaborate in a team-oriented, high volume, time-sensitive environment
  • An analytical aptitude and ability to identify and make recommendations for process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to various stakeholders, adapting the approach to best suit the audience (patients, clients, staff) to ensure understanding
     
Starting at $72,000/annually
The hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.
